In a city with 50% of residents aged 60 and over, the problem of loss of autonomy due to aging can be greater.
To complete the offer offered locally to this senior public, Yann Bellon decided to open a second Petit-fils agency in Dinard, four years after opening the one in Saint-Malo.
More than 400 families helped
“Grand-fil has existed nationally since 2007 and has 280 agencies in France which employ 10,000 care workers. In France, it is the first private operator in this field,” indicates Yann Bellon. “Since the creation of the Malouine agency in 2020, we have helped more than 400 families and created 65 carer jobs. » On the left bank (Dinard and the CCCE municipalities), the agency is under the responsibility of Pascale Blanchard who can rely on the intervention of fifteen care assistants. The objective is to double their number by the end of 2025.
A tailor-made home help service
“The care assistants (mainly women) that we employ are qualified and have a minimum of three years of experience. » Their missions, of different nature, are tailor-made: “Help with getting up and going to bed, washing, taking meals or shopping, preparing meals, routine maintenance of linen and housing, walks and outings cultural, nursery, accompaniment to medical appointments, night presence…” lists Yann Bellon.
Individual-employer
At Petit-fils, home help results in an employment contract between the individual employer and his or her caregiver. Under this regime, the individual is responsible for paying salaries and social security contributions related to this home employment. The simplification of administrative procedures is ensured by the Petit-fils agency.
Personal service-related expenses are eligible for the tax credit. Assistance in financing home help services may be requested in certain cases (Personalized autonomy allowance, Disability compensation benefit, Health insurance, etc.)
