In the most recent “crime scene,” the investigators went to the red light district. There Ballauf and Schenk met Chiara. Was the face familiar to you?
The building technician at an Eros center lies dead in front of the house. Malik Zeman was pushed from a seventh-floor window. The Cologne “Tatort” detectives Max Ballauf (Klaus J. Behrendt) and Freddy Schenk (Dietmar Bär) investigate their new case “Seventh Floor” in the red light district. The focus was on the three sex workers Cosima (Senita Huskić), Jasmin (Antonia Bill) and Tani (Maddy Forst).
But the former prostitute Chiara also attracts attention in Sunday’s “Tatort”. Did the nail designer look familiar? The actress behind the role is a veteran in the show industry. The role of Chiara was played by Sabrina Setlur. The 50-year-old is actually in the spotlight as a rapper.
Sabrina Setlur celebrated success in the mid-1990s with hits like “Yes, of course” and “You don’t love me.” Moses Pelham made the then business student a star in 1995. He produced her first album. “S is ready” made it to number 11 in the charts. Four more albums followed, the last of which was 17 years ago.
In an interview with the “Berliner Morgenpost” she now says: “I had a classic burnout back then. At that point I had been on stage for 20 years and had hardly noticed real life anymore. At some point my head and body said: ‘I can’t do it anymore.’ So I pulled the ripcord and took a break.”
Musically it was quiet for Sabrina Setlur. On TV, however, she can be seen from time to time, although quite rarely. Last year she was part of the reality show “The Traitors”. She also appeared in shows such as “Grill den Henssler”, “Celebrity Shopping Queen” and “Let’s Dance”.
Now Sabrina Setlur unexpectedly appeared in the “crime scene”. The role of Chiara was not the first for the 50-year-old. She also starred in films such as “Anatomy” from 2000 and “The World of the Wunderlichs” from 2016 with Hannelore Elsner.
