Guest of C à Vous, on France 5, Muriel Robin reacted to the sentencing of her former friend, the comedian Pierre Palmade, to five years in prison.
“For 30 years, I was by his side.” Two days after the sentencing of Pierre Palmade to five years in prison, including two years, for injuring three people in a road accident while under the influence of drugs, the reactions continue. Invited on the set of C à Vous, on France 5, the comedian Muriel Robin, a long-time friend of Pierre Palmade, reacted to this verdict and clarified her latest statements on the end of her friendship with him.
“It’s not because Pierre Palmade caused an accident that I ended our friendship. We don’t let go of a friend, obviously,” explains Muriel Robin on France 5.
“Pierre, I never let go of him. For 30 years, I was at his side (…) I wanted to give him this absolute love”, adds the actress, who had already distanced herself a few months after the drama that occurred on February 10, 2023 and which led to Pierre Palmade being sentenced on Wednesday November 20.
“I’m not a quitter.”
“In the context of the accident, I heard and saw things unacceptable to me. And that justifies my position today. I am not a quitter (…), if I give up, it is because I have reasons to give up,” says Muriel Robin.
Pierre Palmade was sentenced to five years in prison, including two years, for “unintentional injury” and must soon be summoned to Bordeaux to determine the conditions of his detention. The actor can always appeal.
