The Philadelphia 76ers coined their own tank as “The Process” and that’s officially turned into a nightmare — during and current day. They manipulated the old draft lottery to accumulate top picks.
A bunch turned into castoffs and one is a shell of himself on the Nets now. The remaining superstar from the entire era is currently the center of drama on a very bad basketball team. Simple as that.A lot of Nets fans want the team to tank given the talent in this year’s draft… and it’s justified. But if you think tanking is the recipe for success, look no further than their opponent tonight.
Just saying. NBA Cup game No. 3 for Brooklyn…

Injuries: OUT (BK): Bojan Bogdanovic (left foot injury recovery), Day’Ron Sharpe (left hamstring strain), Jacky Cui (G-League), Jaylen Martin (G-League), and Dariq Whitehead (G-League). Probable: Nic Claxton, Dorian Finney-Smith, Cam Thomas.
OUT (PHILA): Paul George (left knee injury), Kyle Lowry will (hip), and Joel Embiid is questionable with “knee injury management.”
The Game:
Ben Simmons, the target of Philly boo-birds since his holdout three seasons back, has always seemed more amused than upset by the reaction to him at Wells-Fargo Center, as he noted after his last game at Wells-Fargo back in February. “It’s funny to me,” Simmons said after that game. “I’ve got grown men pissed off and yelling at me. … It’s not that deep. It’s sports, but it comes with it, so I enjoy it.”
