The 11th day saw Al Nassr's first defeat in the league. The Riyadh club could end the day nine points behind Al Hilal, Jorge Jesus' club.
After the international break, Al Nassr returned to the Saudi Arabian championship against one of the surprises of the season, Al Qadisiya, who had moved up the division and remained at the top of the table. Cristiano and Otávio appeared in Pioli's XI and helped the Riyadh club achieve an overwhelming first half offensively.
However, in terms of goals, Al Nassr only managed to score one of his 10 shots (xG of 2.63), and this was through the inevitable Cristiano Ronaldo. The experienced Casteels made an unusual mistake and let the ball slip away, which Simakan headed back to deceive the captain and make the score 1-0.
The equalizer came almost immediately afterwards, against the run of play, when Quiñones (37') took advantage of a pass from Al Ammar to equalize. The Mexican was going to be the star of the match when in the 50th minute, he appeared at the far post and served Aubameyang for the equalizer.
Al Nassr pressed until the end, but only managed to worry Koen Casteels at the very end of the match, who made a good save in the 90th minute, and the final whistle meant the first defeat for the Riyadh team in the championship. They occupy third place with 22 points, like Al Shabab and Al Qadisiya. Al Hilal lead with 28 points, but they won't be in action until Saturday.
After three consecutive victories, Vítor Pereira's Al Shabab stumbled upon returning from international duty. With Daniel Podence in the starting XI, the Portuguese coach's team was held to a 1-1 draw by the modest Al Okhdood team.
Roberto Renan (45+3') gave Al Shabab the lead, but Musona (49') equalized with a pass from former Casa Pia player Goodwin Savior. The score remained unchanged.
