Coldplay fever has taken over the virtual world once again, with a new update on the band’s special ‘Infinity Tickets’ that are going on sale.
After the British rock band sold out shows in Mumbai and Ahmedabad for their upcoming India leg of the ‘Music Of the Spheres Tour‘, reports state that the band will now release a limited lot of affordable tickets called ‘Infinity Tickets’.
What are Infinity Tickets?
In response to the overwhelming demand and in a bid to make their concerts accessible to a broader audience, Coldplay has introduced these unique tickets priced at just €20, £20, $20, INR 2,000. According to the band’s official website. These tickets aim to give fans who missed out on regular sales another chance to get their golden ticket to the shows.
The band previously implemented this initiative successfully in previous legs of their world tour across Europe and the United States.
How are they sold?
Infinity Tickets come with a few conditions like they can only be purchased in pairs of two. According to reports, the tickets and seat locations will be allotted just a week before the show, or when fans collect their tickets in person. Those who purchase these tickets could find themselves anywhere in the stadium, that does not exclude landing a spot near the stage or even upper tiers seats.

When do the tickets go on sale?
The Infinity Tickets will reportedly go on sale on Friday, November 22, 2024 and further state that booking will open at 12 PM IST. With a limited number of these tickets available for each of the concert dates, fans are advised to act quickly by hitting the ‘Sign Up’ button for alerts on Coldplay’s official website or authorized ticketing platforms including BookMyShow to pre-enter payment details and avoid delays during the checkout process.

The news of the ‘Infinity Tickets’ reportedly going on sale in India comes ahead of the Abu Dhabi bookings that also open today. The shows are set to take place at the Zayed Sports City Stadium on January 9, 11, 12, and 14, 2025, before the band arrives in India for the next leg of the tour.

For their first tour in India, Coldplay, will perform three concerts in Mumbai on Jan. 18, 19 and 21, after which they will follow it up with two concerts in Ahmedabad on Jan 25 and 26.
The band, led by Chris Martin is popular for songs such as “A Sky Full of Stars”, “Viva la Vida”, “Yellow” and “Paradise”. It also consists of guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, drummer and percussionist Will Champion, has always been known for its immersive live shows where they blend visual artistry with iconic music.
