A search of his home
Christopher Sebaoun, municipal councilor of the Tours en commun group of the municipal majority, was placed in police custody following a search of his home, as part of this investigation into drug trafficking. This information was “confirmed to the mayor of Tours” Emmanuel Denis by the public prosecutor Catherine Sorita-Minard, the municipality indicated in a press release.
For her part, the magistrate simply confirmed the placement in police custody of the municipal councilor, indicating that no further communication was currently planned on this matter.
He will be suspended in the event of indictment
The town hall for its part stressed that “at this stage, no additional information is known regarding possible legal proceedings against him”. “In the event of indictment, the mayor will suspend Mr. Sebaoun from all his delegations during the police investigation,” said the town hall.
