The snow has largely fallen in Seine-et-Marne and the roads are increasingly icy. A situation which does not help the motorists who risked taking their car.

Last night, until 300 kilometers of traffic jams have been recorded throughout Île-de-; in Seine-et-Marne, road trips have multiplied.

“A real ice rink”

In the north of the department, the Nationale 2 was particularly affected. Thursday November 21 around 10 p.m., the driver ofa heavy goods vehicle lost control of his vehicle and found himself stuck across this busy route near Saint-Mard.

Friday morning, around 8 a.m., on the RN2 near Dammartin-en-Goële, a car on fire, for reasons still unknown, blocked traffic.

And for those who escaped unscathed, the reaction is the same, “ the N2 is almost impassable, it's an ice rink all the way», writes an Internet user via Facebook. “ I have never been so afraid in my life in a car . And yet I was driving at no more than 30 km/h. A real ice rink…” reacts another.

For their part, the Seine-et-Marne firefighters assure that there wasfewer interventions than usualand that there were mainly losses of control but no injuries. They add: “it is still necessarybe very careful on the roads. »
