Unfortunately, the adventure of the two lovebirds was disrupted by an unexpected announcement. Flavie actually learned during filming that she had cancer. “When we got the announcement, we filmed them to tell them that we wanted to stop”explained Karine Le Marchand to Tele-Leisure. To everyone's surprise, Flavie asked for the filming to continue. “She told us: ‘No no, it gives me strength. I need you, to be followed, to continue to be filmed. I'm not ashamed and it gives me purpose. It takes me out of the illness'“added the host.
Valentin reflects on the death of his father
During an interview given to GalaThursday, November 21, Valentin returned to a very difficult mourning that he had to overcome. At the age of 19, the breeder lost his father in a road accident. “This ordeal trained me for problems”he explained, before talking about his partner Flavie’s cancer.
“I think my strength helped Flavie”he continued. Valentin nevertheless admitted to having had moments of doubt after the announcement of Flavie's cancer. “I still had moments of weakness but she doesn’t know it”he confided. “In front of her, things were always fine.
