French President Emmanuel Macron is “very worried” of the situation of the Franco-Algerian writer Boualem Sansal who, according to several media, was arrested in Algeria, a close friend of the head of state told AFP this Thursday, November 21, 2024.

“He is monitoring the situation carefully and is very worried,” said this relative.
