Some 235,000 homes were without electricity this Thursday, November 21 at 4 p.m., mainly in the West of France, as a result of snowfall and violent winds caused by the Caetano storm, according to a report from the electricity distributor Enedis .

“235,000 customers are deprived of power, particularly in Normandy (70,000), Pays de la Loire (60,000) and Brittany (50,000)”declared Enedis, who on Wednesday “pre-mobilized 1,000 Enedis employees” and 400 from service companies, in anticipation of falling trees or branches on the cables.
