The city center De Brouckère metro station was partly closed this Thursday.
Several of you have reported movement near the De Brouckère metro station, located in the center of Brussels. “Significant presence of emergency vehicles”Nathalie informs us while Max emphasizes that access is “completely closed”.
Part of said station – access to the tram – was actually closed due to an event that occurred around 3 p.m. Lines 4 and 10 were interrupted between Lemonnier and the Gare du Nord.
The origin of this closure is a personal accident. “According to our information, this person is not injured,” the Brussels firefighters tell us. The Stib confirms the accident. The exact circumstances of the facts are unknown.
The emergency response was completed around 5 p.m. The incident is over and traffic has resumed on all lines.
