“Have you ever tried this one?”
Sabrina Carpenter wrapped the North American leg of her Short n’ Sweet Tour earlier this week, but people are still chatting over some of the most exciting moments of her live shows — including the NSFW positions she assumed while performing “Juno.”
But why did the 25-year-old pop star strike a different sensual pose each night as she sang the fan-favorite Short n’ Sweet album track? PEOPLE has the answers.
Arguably the album’s most raunchy song, “Juno” finds Carpenter fantasizing about a romantic partner getting her pregnant — like the titular character of the 2007 film Juno.
“I know you want my touch for life / If you love me right, then who knows? / I might let you make me Juno / You know I just might / Let you lock me down tonight,” she sings on the chorus. “One of me is cute, but two though? / Give it to me, baby / You make me wanna make you fall in love.”
At the Short n’ Sweet Tour, Carpenter introduces “Juno” by playfully arresting someone in the crowd for “being too hot” in reference to one of the song’s lyrics: “Wanna try out my fuzzy pink handcuffs? / Oh, I hear you knockin’, baby, come on up.”

Arrestees throughout the tour included celebrities such as Margaret Qualley, SNL star Marcello Hernández (as his Domingo character), actress Rachel Sennott, Millie Bobby Brown and more.
The nightly position comes before the song’s second chorus, when Carpenter sings, “Wanna try out some freaky positions? / Have you ever tried this one?” At that point, she either gets on the ground or maneuvers her body in some other way to mimic a sexual position.

Throughout the tour, she’d either arch her back, bend over, put her legs in the air, place the microphone in her crotch area or pretend to put it down her throat — and fans captured every single one in videos shared to social media.
The North American leg of the Short n’ Sweet Tour concluded at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on Nov. 18. Next, she’ll embark on a European leg of shows in March 2025.
