– Crédit Agricole Assurances announced the sale on Wednesday

Crédit Agricole Assurances (CAA) announced on Wednesday the sale, via its subsidiary Predica, of some 4 million shares of Française des Jeux (FDJ), or 2.2% of the capital of this company, at a price of 36. 60 euros per share. CAA, which brings together the insurance activities of Crédit Agricole, sold 4,073,436 shares of FDJ, he detailed in a press release.

The amount of the sale therefore amounts to around 150 million euros. Crédit Agricole Assurances has been a shareholder in FDJ since the latter's IPO in 2019, he recalls. At the end of this operation, Predica and Crédit Agricole Assurances Retraites (two 100% subsidiaries of Crédit Agricole Assurances) retain 3.3% of the capital of the FDJ and 4.5% of its voting rights. Crédit Agricole Assurances remains a member of the FDJ board of directors.
