Hefenhofen case: the authorities’ fear of Ulrich K. is frightening
During a court hearing, the new owners of the farm in Hefenhofen enforce Ulrich K.’s expulsion. This is no coincidence, but it clearly shows how much damage the farmer has caused.

It has been official since September 16, 2024: Ulrich K. has to leave his farm in Hefenhofen. He is no longer the owner of the property, but the farmer refuses to move out. The now legally binding decision of the Arbon District Court enables the new owners to evict Ulrich K..
It is no coincidence that this happens exactly on the day of the trial. Rather, it is the intention of the authorities. The farmer from Hefenhofen is considered a troublemaker. The Hefenhofen case, which became known throughout Switzerland, bears witness to this.
Ulrich K. threatened officials, he no longer accepts his mail and there are several kitchen knives in the front door with some disrespectful messages for the government. And these are just a few examples with which Ulrich K. has been dealing with Thurgau authorities for decades.
Ulrich K. is famous and infamous. Sending him away from his farm needs to be well thought out. That certainly makes sense. One is inclined to be happy about the cautious actions of the police. But it also shows how frighteningly great the fear of the 56-year-old farmer is. And you’re left with an uneasy feeling.
Ulrich K. takes every right to do what he wants. Apparently without fear of consequences, of which he has had to face almost none for his actions to date. The Thurgau authorities are overwhelmed by Ulrich K. – which is exactly what he uses to his advantage.
