It’s snowing in Veneto, up to 5 centimeters expected: here’s where and when

Between the afternoon of Thursday 21 November and the morning of Friday 22, the first snowfalls of the season are expected in Veneto, particularly in the mountains and hilly areas

VENICE – The weather forecast indicates in Veneto between the late afternoon of tomorrow, Thursday 21 November, and the early hours of Friday 22, modest rainfall, with snow down to low altitude: in the mountains up to the pre-Alpine valley floors, elsewhere up to hilly altitudes (200-500 metres), with possible accumulations of a few centimeters (one-five centimetres) in the pre-Alpine valley bottoms, in the foothill areas, especially the more closed ones, and on the hills.
In the plains mostly rain, possible snow at times snow mixed with rain on the more internal areas, but generally without accumulations.

Given the meteorological situation expected in the regional territory, the Civil Protection of Veneto declared the state of attention for snowfall, to be reconfigured, at a local level, in the pre-alarm or alarm operational phase depending on the intensity of the phenomena from 4pm tomorrow to 6am for the pre-Alpine valleys, the foothills and the hilly areas.
