This Thursday, November 21, 2024, the first snowflakes of the season are announced in the Channel, which has been placed, as 27 other departmentsin vigilance orange snow-ice, by Météo .

We take stock, city by city, of what is expected to happen tomorrow.

In Saint-Lô, a few snowflakes and rain?

For the moment, in Saint-Lô, Météo France is only announcing rain accompanied by “a few flakes”, which could fall from 8 a.m.. Then in the morning, only a few flakes might persist. The rain could return to midday, and the latter, as the snow should stop falling in the afternoon.

Temperature side, 3 degrees felt – 1 are announced for the minimums, and 5 degrees are intended for the maximums.

Temperatures felt up to – 6 degrees, in Villedieu-les-Poêles and Granville

In Granville, rain and snow could well fall alternately, from 6 a.m. for rain and from 9 a.m. for snow.

The snowflakes should no longer fall from 4 p.m., but watch out for gusts of wind, which may reach 65 km/h during the day, and which will cause the announced temperature from 2 to 6 degreessera felt up to – 4 degrees by the population.

The weather conditions are similar to Villedieu-les-Poêles, but the rain should be less marked than the snow, which could last until 5 p.m.

On the thermostat side, it can reach 0 degrees in the ambient air, felt – 6 !

Gusts, rain and snow, in Coutances

For Coutances and its surroundings, Météo France announces a few flakes from 9 a.m., then bigger ones from 10 a.m. From 11 a.m., an alternation of snowflakes/rain could also occur, before stopping around 7 p.m.

Temperatures will drop to 1 degree felt -3. Gusts could reach 70 km/h.
