Willian Pacho’s notes in the press

Scoops (8/10) : He did not realize that Cordoba was running behind him; if he had been more concentrated, the Colombian would not have had the game as easy. He lost a few duels with his opponents. In the second half, he worked harder and burst the ball in all directions.

ESPN (no rating) : He appeared with the captain’s armband, but lacked presence with the referee, notably during the red for Hincapié. Lots of work in the penalty area, where he struggled to contain Córdoba. Then, impeccable in neutralizing the aerial play of Colombia, who had four good leading players.

Note that Willian Pacho started the match on the right, but returned to the left following the expulsion of Piero Hincapié and the entry into play at half-time of the right-handed Ecuadorian central defender Félix Torres.
