The France Espoirs team snatched a draw in the last seconds against Germany (2-2), Tuesday in Valenciennes in a friendly preparation match for Euro-2025.
For this last outing of the year, the Bleuets, largely overhauled by Gérald Baticle, suffered a lot but were able to react perfectly against young Germans who had been undefeated for twelve matches.
Second consecutive draw
Led following a double from Dortmund striker Alexander Beier at the start of each period (1-0, 5e then 2-0, 50e), the Bleuets came back to the score after a penalty converted by Mathys Tel (1-2, 62e) before snatching a draw in stoppage time thanks to Loum Tchaouna (2-2, 90e+3).
