Inoxtag forced to “leave his home and surround himself with security”
This Monday, around 7 a.m., three hooded men broke into the former home of the parents of YouTuber Inoxtag, whose real name is Inès Benazzouz. If the house, located in Orgeval in Yvelines, had been sold for some time, the thugs crossed the garden armed with a fake handgun before managing to get inside the house. The trio of burglars then violently attacked the couple who had purchased the property in 2020. “The husband received a blow to the head,” a source close to the case told our colleagues at Paris Match. The woman, for her part, was pushed around.
“The three individuals seemed to want to kidnap the current owners of the home, thinking that they were the parents of the YouTuber,” we can read in the magazine. An announcement delayed by the Versailles prosecutor's office, which affirms that there is “no connection with the YouTuber's parents, even if it was a house that belonged to them.” “Inoxtag was forced to leave his home and surround himself with security. It is the same for those close to him,” after learning of the attack, according to Paris Match’s source.
The YouTuber already the victim of two burglaries
This is not the first time that videographer Inoxtag has been the target of a burglary. Already on November 6, a property that the YouTuber had rented in Poissy, still in Yvelines, was burglarized. In a message published on the social network “Friends, everything is fine with me, two burglaries in the space of 6 months,” he wrote. The first was during my climb of Everest, where almost my entire sneaker and watch collection was stolen. The second took place yesterday: in another house of mine where they broke in the window with a crowbar,” we can read in a post published on November 7.An investigation is currently underway to determine if the latest burglary attempt is linked to the previous two.
In the couple's Yvelin home, the three individuals ultimately stole nothing, then fled with a white vehicle and hit a bus. They were also filmed scouting around the house before the incident. The two victims remain “particularly traumatized”.
