Recurring actor in the series The Scott Brothers, also seen in The Staircase and Outer Banks, Paul Teal has died at the age of 35. It was his companion, Emilia Torello, who confirmed his disappearance on November 15. Contacted by CNNthe actor's agent explained that the latter had succumbed to cancer.
“The most thoughtful, caring, driven, self-disciplined and loving man died on Friday, November 15, 2024.” she wrote in a post on her Instagram account. “Paul, you were my soul mate, my future husband, my rock and my future. You filled my lungs with laughter, my stomach with butterflies and my heart with love. You were taken away too soon, in a battle that you you led courageously without failing. […] I will love you forever.”

One of his playing partners in the series, Bethany Joy Lenz , paid tribute to him, via Instagram. “My heart is heavy. Paul Teal was the kind of guy who lit up a room without trying. His bright smile, contagious laugh and kind heart made you want to be near him.”
Apart from this one, this North Carolina native had appeared in other series, such as The Walking Dead: World Beyond, Dynasty, or Good Behaviour; often for the duration of an episode. Four feature films to his credit too, between 2021 and 2024.
