Nearly a month before the end-of-year holidays, 2.3 million households are preparing to receive their Christmas bonus. A bonus paid during the month of December in order to offer a helping hand to households who need it at the end of the year. If the payment of aid is usually made on the 15th of the month, the Minister of Solidarity, Autonomy and Equality between women and men, Paul Christophe, announced that the Christmas bonus would be paid from December 13 directly to the beneficiaries' bank account.
To find out if you are eligible to receive this bonus, it's simple: you just need to have received the active solidarity income (RSA), the specific solidarity allowance (ASS) or the retirement equivalent allowance (AER) at during the month of November 2024. Despite inflation, the amount of the Christmas bonus has not increased. It will be equal to that of the year 2023. Thus, the distribution of the amounts will be done according to the family situation of the beneficiaries. More specifically, the amounts will be distributed as follows.
For each additional person in the household, Caf pays 60.98 euros.
