TV SERIES – “My heart is heavy”confided Bethany Joy Lenz on her social networks this Monday, November 18. The actress paid tribute to Paul Teal, one of her playing partners in the series The Scott Brothers, died of cancer at age 35.
“Paul Teal was the kind of guy who lit up a room effortlessly. His radiant smile, his contagious laugh and his kind heart made you want to be near him.”confided the interpreter of Haley Scott in a publication on Instagram.

Paul Teal played Noah Calhoun, the lead role in the musical The Notebook (2009) inspired by the film Never forget (2004) by Nick Cassavete, itself adapted from the book The Pages of our love by Nicholas Sparks. Paul Teal is dead “after a courageous battle against cancer” said his agent Susan Tolar Walters in a press release reported by CNN.
Mainly known for his role in The Scott Brothershe also made appearances in the series Dynastie, The Walking Dead : World Beyond, Outer Banks or even The Staircase.
This year he was starring in the TV movie Descendants: The Rise of Red on Disney+ et du drama Lillypresented at the Hamptons International Film Festival on October 10.
His final appearance will be posthumous in the drama series The Hunting Wivesbroadcast on Starz in the United States in 2025.
