The only scorer of Kosovo in the victory over Lithuania, Muharrem Jashari, has declared that he is very happy that three points were achieved.
Jashari was sent off with a red card just before the end of the first half.
He talked about the emotions, while he thanked his teammates for the victory and the coach for the trust.
“Very special, indescribable emotion. I am more happy about the victory. A big thank you to my teammates who got involved in the second half. They had an additional burden as they were one player less.”
“Maybe I thought it wasn’t even a yellow card. I touched him a bit on the leg, but it wasn’t a red card for me. We played very well tactically. We have analyzed the opponent. It’s not my usual position, this one on the left wing, but I’ve played it before. I thank the coach for trusting me”, he declared first.
Furthermore, Jashari has shown that he played on the left wing in Trepça ’89 and a little in Drita and knows that position.
“The whole journey was not easy. I am very happy with all the players, with all the staff, for these four games that I was gathered. I dedicate the goal to my family”, declared Jashari. /Telegraph/
