Initially a journalist, he was for a time a correspondent in Brussels for the British press. But it was as mayor of London that he became known. A politician who travels by bike like everyone else and takes care of his scruffy outfit. He also cultivates self-deprecation, as when he gets stuck on a zip line.

But he is also a fine strategist. In 2019, he gave the Conservatives the biggest electoral victory since Margaret Thatcher and entered 10 Downing Street. His mandate is marked by the particularly deadly COVID-19 pandemic in the United Kingdom and by “Partygate”, the scandal of illegal parties in full confinement.
