Two actors set off on the roads of Comminges for an eco-friendly challenge broadcast on France 5

Gil Alma and Benoît Joubert, two actors, embark on a funny and eco-friendly television challenge. They walk with 25 kilos of stones on their backs, the equivalent of the carbon footprint of a French person per day, and have 3 days to empty their bags. Their journey takes them to Comminges.

Leave with 25 kilos on your back, 25 kilos of stones, but what idea!? Gil Alma and Benoît Joubert are taking on this somewhat crazy challenge and their adventure is broadcast on 5 from 9 p.m., this Monday, November 18, 2024. This weight represents the daily carbon footprint of a French person and they have three days to get rid of it. And for this, they must review their modes of transport: favor walking, carpooling, the bus… Their adventure even leads them to ride a rail bike or horseback ride.

Many meetings

Gil and Ben are in Cathar country, then in Comminges for these episodes. They will meet many people who are working hard for the planet, including the mayor of Melles, which aims for autonomy, or a paper mill installed near Saint-Gaudens.

Their journey can be followed Monday November 18 from 9.05 p.m. on France 5 and on the france.tv platform.
