HERE’S SARAH AND SARAH IS A TROPICAL STORM STILL, AND IT HAS JUST BEEN HUGGING THE COASTLINE OF HONDURAS FOR THE PAST 12 AND 24 HOURS AND CAUSED SOME REAL ISSUES WITH SOME FLOODING THERE OVER THE PAST 24 TO 36 HOURS. IT IS A SLOW MOVER. WE’LL GET IN OVER THE SOUTHERN REACHES OF THE YUCATAN PENINSULA. HERE OF MEXICO, AND AS IT DOES, IT’S GOING TO LOSE A LOT OF ITS ENERGY. IT’S GOING TO LOSE ITS ENGINE FROM THE OCEAN WATERS AND GOING TO KIND OF DIE OUT SO THAT BY MONDAY MORNING IT GETS BACK OUT INTO THE GULF. AND IT’S REALLY NOTHING MORE THAN A REMNANT AREA OF LOW PRESSURE. IT WILL LOSE ALL OF ITS TROPICAL CHARACTERISTICS. NOW, IT COULD GET INTO THE GULF AND THEN REDEVELOP. WE’LL HAVE TO WATCH FOR THAT. BUT IT DOESN’T LOOK FAVORABLE FOR THOSE CONDITIONS TO COME UP. LOTS OF FLOODING AND MUDSLIDES IN HONDURAS AND OVER CENTRAL AMERICA TODAY, WEAKENING OVER THE YUCATAN, AS I MENTIONED, AND A LOW LIKELIHOOD FOR THAT REDEVELOPMENT AS WE GET INTO THE GULF, INTO THE FIRST PART OF NEXT WEEK.
