The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences 15th annual Governors Awards is taking place Sunday, Nov. 17, at Los Angeles’ Ray Dolby Ballroom at Ovation Hollywood.

A staple in the awards season lead-up to the Oscars, the 2024 event featured A-List actors, filmmakers and musicians. The event will bestow the late music legend Quincy Jones and veteran casting director Juliet Taylor with the Academy Honor Awards, as well as the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award to British writer-director Richard Curtis and the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award to No Time to Die producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli.

As mentioned, the fete featured film reunions all around, including the soon-to-be-released Gladiator IIin attendees Paul Mescal and Connie Nielsen. Curtis reunited with his rom-com muse in Hugh Grant, with whom he worked on Notting Hill, Four Weddings and a Funeral and Love Actually. Meanwhile, Wilson and Broccoli crossed paths with former 007 star Daniel Craig. Also reuniting were Emilia Perez helmer Jacques Audiard and star Karla Sofía Gascón.

Also in attendance were Babygirl‘s Harris Dickinson, power couple Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks, Anora standout Mikey Madison, The Last Showgirl‘s Pamela Anderson, Lee‘s Kate Winslet, The Apprentice‘s Jeremy Strong and Andrew Garfield of We Live in Time.
