The organizers gave the information last weekend: Amandine Petit, Miss France 2021, will be at the start of the 10 km Marathon In Deauville (Calvados). Saturday November 16, the former miss, originally from Bourguébus, near Caen, was there among the 3,200 competitors. After a little more than 54 minutes of effort, she responded to the numerous requests, barely crossing the finish line: friendly exchanges, photos, selfies, videos… Always keeping a smile and her freshness.

“I have my doubts, but I think it's my personal best over 10 km in 54'34. My last 10 km was on the Adidas 10 K, in Paris, and I did 57'. We are in Normandy and that’s normal (smile). I'm so happy. » She was able to count on the unfailing support of the public: “My God, what people have supported me, I have received lots of messages. It's extraordinary, I was supported throughout the entire journey. It was crazy, so much love, smiles, happy people, it's incredible. And only people with a good mindset (mindset). »
She enjoyed the journey: “Honestly, the route was so beautiful, along the sea. This is where I did my training for New York. Here, on our Normandy coasts, it is the most beautiful route. »
