Diaby opens the scoring
The Girondins started this meeting well by scoring in the first quarter of an hour through Diaby who played up front during this meeting. He takes advantage of an opening from Ben Khemis on Karim who misses his control, but allows Diaby to score with a low shot with his right foot (11th). Previously, Lassana Diabaté had to relax in the 2nd minute to deflect an opponent's shot for a corner.
The first period continued with Gironde domination despite several incursions by Bressuire into the Bordeaux area, without danger. The Regional 1 players do not target their attempts. On the Bordeaux side, Karim and Diallo had the opportunity to score without succeeding.
Diabaté pulls out all the stops
Returning from the locker room, Karim Safouane takes a sharp shot from a high recovery, but the goalkeeper makes a save. Karim was very close to 0-2. Then, Driss Trichard takes a yellow card for a big foul on an opponent. Finally, Ranem ends the match with cramps. Diabaté finally comes out in added time, and allows Grimaud to take to the pitch in competition.
The score will no longer change, Bordeaux wins 2 to 0 and avoids the trap with the Regional 1 club.
The Girondins will face National 2 club des Herbiers in the 8th round on the weekend of November 30 in Bordeaux. Les Herbiers are third in group B, that of the Girondins in N2.
