Five people died in a car accident this Sunday, November 17, 2024 in the early morning near Albi, in the southwest of France, theAFP from judicial sources. Four burned bodies were discovered by emergency services inside the vehicle, which caught fire after hitting a plane tree before 5 a.m. in Gaillac (Tarn). A fifth victim, thrown from the car, was found nearby.
An investigation was opened to try to determine the identity of the five deceased people, the Albi prosecutor's office told theAFP. “It is too early to have the precise circumstances of the accident, but a priori, we are on a single vehicle involved”he clarified.
