This Saturday afternoon, the Papas Bikers returned to the town of Montceau-les-Mines to carry out their mission of collecting toys for children. It is the Soldats d’Odin Officiel France (SOOF) association which is organizing the demonstration.
Around 2:15 p.m., we heard the first engines in the distance and the procession, made up of around fifty motorcycles, emerged on the quays to park in the town hall square, making the horses roar and the decibels rising.
After a few discussions with Montcellian elected officials, a mini procession left for a tour of the city taking with them, Mayor MC Jarrot and deputies Gérard Gronfier and Sylvie Lukowitz.
Then, everyone gathered around the kiosk to have a few drinks and snack on some cakes.
Fafnir (leader) and Nasa (vice-leader) recalled their action around Christmas: “The toys collected will be redistributed in nurseries, at the PMI level, in the CCAS, at the Chalon CH,…”
Mayor MC Jarrot: “It is always a pleasure to welcome you and to salute your action. This is the first event to announce the Christmas festivities.”
Then, the convoy of men and women in red took the road again, towards Blanzy, for the Lucie Aubrac school, in order to continue their mission to complete their journey to Le Creusot.
