The young woman, originally from Søborg, was a professional dancer before entering the world of beauty pageants. According to some sources, she worked in diamond sales after following an academic career oriented towards commerce and marketing. Very committed to animal rights, she also likes to travel and share her daily life with her many Instagram subscribers. In total, she has no less than 244,000 followers on the social network.

No victory for France, but Indira Ampiot places in the top 30
Alongside Miss Denmark, Chidimma Adetshina, Miss Nigeria, was crowned first runner-up, then Miss Mexico, María Fernanda Beltrán, in third place. Behind them, Thailand with Suchata Chuangsri, and Venezuela with Ileana Márquez completed the top 5 of this 73rd edition. On the French side, Indira Ampiot is placed in 20th place, leaving Iris Mittenaere as the last French woman to have been crowned with the title of Miss Universe. The magazine leader and television host won the trophy in 2016 in the Philippines.
