The DFB selection celebrated a resounding victory in the last home game of the year. In the 7-0 win against Bosnia, all four offensive players who were on the field from the start scored.
His teammates congratulated Tim Kleindienst (#9) on his first international goal.

Wirtz reported fit in good time after his infection, so that he could form the offensive line of three together with the returnees Havertz and Musiala (both of whom missed the last course due to injuries). In addition to the last missing duo, Nagelsmann also brought in Tah, Andrich and Groß in the 1-0 win against the Netherlands. The quintet replaced Schlotterbeck (suspended), Stiller (muscular problems), Pavlovic (broken collarbone), Leweling (muscle injury on the back of the thigh) and Gnabry (bench).
On the other hand, Bosnia’s coach Sergej Barbarez surprised Dzeko by demoting him to the bench. Demirovic started for the captain compared to the 2-0 loss against Hungary – it was one of six changes: Muharemovic, Barisic, Omerovic, Sunjic and Kulenovic also started for Gazibegovic, Kolasinac (not in the squad), Katic (suspended), Bajraktarevic and Hajradinovic (both benches).
Musiala puts Germany on track after 79 seconds
In the last home game of the year, the DFB team got off to a dream start. After just 79 seconds, Musiala nodded Kimmich’s cross into the right corner. The expected game then developed: the hosts dominated the game against extremely deep Bosnians and almost did not allow the guests to get out of their half due to a vicious counter-pressing.

The next goal resulted from an attentive pressing action. Kleindienst initially followed up strongly and a few moments later directed Andrich’s long-range shot into the net for his first international goal (23′). The 2-0 win was obviously not enough for the Germans. They continued to show enthusiasm as the game progressed – at times it was simply too fast for Bosnia – so more goals were in the air.
Havertz (25th, 32nd) and Musiala left them alone before Havertz increased the score after a one-two with Wirtz (37th). The score was 3-0 at halftime because Havertz missed his brace (42′) and Baumann made a strong save against Gigovic (45’+1).
Wirtz scores twice
But the result didn’t last long in the identical second half: Wirtz first curled a free kick with the support of the lower edge of the crossbar into the net (50′) and a little later pushed it in from close range (57′) – 5-0. Nagelsmann then made a lot of changes and brought on Gnabry and Sané, among others. While the former missed the 6-0 by centimeters (65th), Sané made it half a dozen after taking the ball with him (66th).
But it wasn’t the final point, this was reserved for Kleindienst – also because Gnabry was supposed to prevent Groß’ goal in the final phase (83′): The attacker maneuvered Rüdiger’s half-court cross into the net to make the final score 7-0 (79′).
The 6th matchday in the Nations League continues on Tuesday, with the German selection facing Hungary in the last game of the year at 8:45 p.m. (LIVE! on kicker). Bosnia-Herzegovina meets the Netherlands at the same time.
