Today, Saturday, riots carried out by dozens of citizens from sub-Saharan African countries created a state of panic in the city of Qalaia, accompanied by complete chaos that spread throughout.
According to the data available to Hespress newspaper, they blocked the road between Bucre and Al-Qulaya in the face of traffic, while attacking public and private property, forcing merchants to close their shops.
Sources from the place suggested that those concerned intended to do so after a colleague of theirs was stabbed in their gathering place before heading to the agricultural farms where they worked.
In order to contain the situation, intensive security reinforcements joined the scene, where public forces worked to put an end to the riots that broke out after hours of back and forth.
According to preliminary data, the confrontations resulted in the injury of a number of citizens, who were transferred to the Hassan II Regional Hospital, while the competent authorities are investigating the circumstances of this serious incident.
