“Portugal can be Brazil’s gateway to Europe”, says Michel Temer. The former president stated that Lide’s international presence helps Brazilian diplomacy and showcases Brazil. The president of Lisbon City Council, Carlos Moedas, cited the city as “the innovation capital of Europe”. “Come and invest in Lisbon, but also be part of our society”, he reinforced.
Historical relationship between Brazil and Portugal allows “skipping stages”. For the chairman of Lide Portugal, Marcelo Salomão, the bilateral relationship allows “to deal with all types of issues that bring Brazilian and Portuguese companies together to improve the world”.
The event is the second held in partnership with UOL. O CEO do UOLPaulo Sâmia, said it was a pleasure to be at the helm of the international meeting again. “For us at UOL, it is a privilege to be able to contribute to increasingly critical and responsible discussions”, he highlighted. “At the last event, in London, more than 40 thousand people watched the event live and more than 200 thousand people were impacted”, he recalled.
Temer praised the union of the event with Folha de S.Paulo and UOL. In his initial presentation, the former president highlighted the advancement of topics discussed two weeks ago, such as the issue of carbon credits. The matter, which was widely discussed at the meeting, was approved last Wednesday (13) by the Federal Senate. “This partnership with Folha and the UOLit is an extraordinary disclosure”, he highlighted.
This dialogue and the construction of agendas have helped not only to give birth to a compass for several investors in our country, but also helping in important debates by the National Congress.
