“More than 100 000 French people have signed [la pétition] to support Marine Le Pen”announces Jordan Bardella on his X account Friday, November 15. “Let's continue to prove to those who want to silence her that she is not alone.”adds the head of the National Rally. The party currently claims 100,000 members.

The petition “Support Marine!” was launched after the announcement of the requisitions in the case of the assistants of the RN MEPs, Wednesday November 13. The prosecution requested five years in prison, of which two years could be adjusted, and a five-year ineligibility sentence against the leader of the RN deputies in the National Assembly, prosecuted for embezzlement of European funds.

In this petition, the RN denounces a “attempt to eliminate the voice of real opposition.” If the ineligibility penalty is immediately applied, Marine Le Pen will not be able to run for president in 2027.
