According to the media TMZ, Offset and his team actually fought against members of rapper Gazo's entourage in Paris on Thursday evening, following a dispute between the two rappers regarding a collaboration. Sources cited by the specialized media indicate that Gazo and his entourage were furious after paying Offset $150,000 for the filming of a clip in which the latter did not invest as much as the Frenchman expected.
The former member of the group Migos and ex-companion of the sultry rapper Cardi B, Offset was leaving the Hôtel du Collectionneur in the evening when the fight broke out between the two clans. As the American rapper was about to get into his vehicle, he was attacked and immediately responded. Security quickly intervened but the rapper tried several times to take part in the fight, before being taken back to the hotel lobby.
Earlier in the day, the collaboration between the two rappers seemed to be on track. Gazo had even posted a photo on Instagram with Offset in the morning to recall their collaboration on the title “Wemby”, inspired by French NBA star Victor Wembanyama, who will be on his first album “Apocalypse” announced on November 29.
Gazo is due to launch a seven-date tour this Friday, November 15, which begins in Lille at the Splendid this evening to present “Apocalypse” in preview.
