Black Friday offers: This is what discount hunters should pay attention to
How much the customer benefits from such promotional days is controversial. In a sample, the comparison portal Idealo.de came to the conclusion that of the 2,237 products examined on Black Friday 2019, 1,722 were actually cheaper than the previous month, and 320 were reduced by 20 percent or more. However, large price jumps were rather the exception. The consumer advice center advises consumers to keep a cool head when hunting for bargains. Price comparisons in search engines such as idealo.de (like WELT, part of Axel Springer SE) could be more worthwhile than the special offers on the day of the sale.
