It’s a holiday at the Windsor house. This Thursday, November 14, King Charles III celebrates his 76th birthday. If the sovereign continues to honor his royal commitments, as if nothing had happened, on this very special day, Prince William and Kate Middleton had a little thought for him. In a story, the spouses of Wales shared a photo of the monarch with the caption: “Happy birthday to His Majesty the King.” But one detail seems to have surprised Internet users. Indeed, the choice of the photo is surprising since it has nothing to do with the official photos usually published by the British royal family, like the one shared by the official Windsor account.
The image revealed by the Prince and Princess of Wales was taken during the visit of King Charles III and Queen Camilla to the Samoa Islands. The father of princes Harry and William appears there with a smile on his lips, sunglasses on his nose and a flower necklace around his neck. Accessories that decorate his beige suit and blue and yellow tie. The monarch reveals a rather relaxed and uninhibited attitude, showing a warmer side that some are not used to seeing. Indeed, if the members of the Windsor clan often seem unreachable, King Charles III and Prince William want to change things on this subject. The publication of this photo is once again a gesture which aims to modernize the image of the royal family among the British people.

Charles III: what the king has planned to celebrate his 76th birthday
At one time fond of big parties to celebrate important birthdays, it seems that Charles III increasingly wanted to do things simply. For his 76th birthday, the sovereign decided to continue working as this Thursday, November 14, was a day like any other. The father of princes Harry and William is therefore participating in the opening of two Coronation Food Hubs, as part of his foundation which fights against food waste, reports People. A project that was launched a year ago to the day and is therefore celebrating its first anniversary. That same day, the eldest son of Elizabeth II plans to visit a center whose aim is to transform and recycle food that would otherwise have been wasted, into meals. It should even present a new industrial freezer which aims to improve the conservation capacity of surplus food. A busy day.
