Jelle Vossen has once again shown his value for Zulte Waregem. Vossen and co visited Jong Genk. already taking the lead within fifteen minutes. Anton Tanghe nodded a corner kick from Nicolas Rommens against the ropes.
10 minutes later, Vossen followed well after a save from Mike Penders and finished with the rebound.
Jong Genk came back into the match through Mirisola, but just before half time Vossen again provided a bonus of 2 goals.
At the absolute end of the match, 16-year-old Matthias Oyatambwe created tension with the 2-3, but an equalizer would not follow. Zulte Waregem remains in the lead, Jong Genk continues to dangle at the bottom of the rankings.

In the other match on Friday evening, Lommel and Lokeren-Temse played a draw. Lokeren-Temse took the lead in the first half after a gem from Cederick Van Daele, but Filip Stevanovic ensured that Lommel kept a point at home.
