INFO ACTU LYON. The Lyon police were particularly mobilized this Wednesday, November 13, 2024. In addition to the explosive attack against a gold purchasing store in the 6th arrondissement, a very violent burglary would have taken place a few streets further.

A pregnant woman and her father were reportedly sequestered in their apartment on Boulevard des Brotteaux, a few steps from the eponymous square.


Un violent home-jacking

According to our exclusive information, it was around 8:30 p.m. when a young woman several months pregnant would have heard the doorbell of his apartment in this very chic neighborhood ring.

By opening the door, two individuals rushed inside the accommodation, before hit in the face the victim.

Two people kidnapped

The two suspects then allegedly tied up the young woman and her father also present in the family apartment. And this with the aim of quietly searching the different rooms and getting your hands on luxury objects.

Bags, watches or jewelry were reportedly taken away in bags.

During the events, the two victims allegedly received other blows, but also threats with a handgun displayed. It is not known, however, whether an intervention by the fire brigade was necessary.

A manhunt

In circumstances which remain to be determined, the police were then notified. But the defendants had already fled. They would still be sought by the agents in charge of the open investigation. Observations were made in the accommodation.
