They couldn't stop there. The Americans from Linkin Park successfully returned to France with a giant concert at Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre on November 3. An evening that sold out quickly with nearly 40,000 tickets sold in a few hours. Enough to see bigger now. The neo-metal group revealed by its hits “In the end” and “Numb” in the early 2000s and the triumph of its first two albums “Hybrid Theory” and “Meteora” is now tackling the Stade de France.
Its producer Live Nation announces this Thursday a new date in the immense grounds of Saint-Denis on July 11, 2025. An evening which could fill up as quickly as the first, especially after the performance of the group and its new singer Emily Armstrong at Nanterre at the beginning of November. Coming from the obscure Dead Sara, she was awaited at the turning point by fans of the early days and early life of Linkin Park with its leader Chester Bennington, who committed suicide in 2017 at the age of 41. Teenagers at that time, the faithful have become adults who are a little nostalgic for the electric hits that rocked their youth.
But facing them, at Paris La Défense Arena, on November 3, Emily Armstrong was particularly convincing and even downright astonishing, whether on the group's classics like “Somewehere I belong”, “Lying from you” or ” One step closer” or on new songs released in recent weeks such as “The Emptiness Machine” and “Over each other” and which will appear on the group’s new album “From Zero” expected this Friday.
Tickets for this date at the Stade de France on July 11 will go on sale on November 22.
