On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Canal+ and the 20th anniversary of Grand Journalits former presenter Michel Denisot came to celebrate this moment on TMC with his former “foal”, Yann Barthès. The former columnist of the show and presenter of Little Journal brought together historic personalities from the show and the channel for a special program called Michel Denisot doesn’t like birthdaysbroadcast Wednesday November 13. As part of this festive reunion, Laurent Weil, Canal+’s emblematic film journalist, was present on the set of this unique show.
The presenter of Daily invited his classmates to select a question from a list and answer it. It was without hesitation that Laurent Weil chose: “Is life worth living?” To which the “Mr. Cinema” of Canal+ testified with an inspiring speech, recalling his experience: “Yes. Having been in a coma for 15 days after my heart attack, I fought and fought to come back, to be able to express myself in front of you. So yes, you have to fight for life, to be able to take it back.” An authentic and sincere speech to which Yann Barthès reacted by recalling that they were very happy that the journalist was present this evening. “We can’t move on after this!” continued Jean-Michel Apathy who in turn had to answer a question.
Laurent Weil, finally back, two years after his health problems
As a reminder, it is only in the last few months that Laurent Weil has appeared on screen again. The 60-year-old host has been absent since the end of 2021 due to serious health concerns. “I don’t know when exactly he’ll come back, but he’s getting better and better. It’s progressing in the right direction.”declared journalist Laurie Cholewa, a few weeks after the start of her accomplice’s absence from the Cannes Film Festival. We had to wait until this year to find the famous journalist. Laurent Weil participated in a parody of a cinema show produced by comedian Malik Bentalha on the Internet last February.
