Few things are more textbook Gentlemen’s Quarterly than the very concept of the red-carpet premiere of Ridley Scott’s Gladiator IIwhich features the likes of Paul Mescal, Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn, and Denzel Washington. Suits! Swords! Swagger!

On Wednesday, the cast of Scott’s long-awaited sequel gathered in London for the glitziest stop yet on the film’s press tour. Mescal, assisted by his longtime stylist Felicity Kay, dressed in his usual rakish fashion in a custom single-breasted tuxedo and open bow-collar silk shirt by Gucci; the Italian label is the actor’s go-to brand for big events, per their ongoing partnership. Pascal wore an off-the-runway look from Bottega Veneta’s spring 2025 collection: a black open-collar shirt with matchstick-shaped decals, front-pleated trousers, and woven loafers. Quinn, a relative newcomer in the industry’s Fashion It Guy economy, wore a sharp Prada leather blazer.

Elsewhere on the carpet, Mescal’s pal and All of Us Strangers castmate Andrew Scott wore a sparkly argyle cardigan; Denzel wore formal sneakers; and hell, even King Charles III rolled up in a classic peak-lapel tux.
