‘Gossip Girl’ actress missing for 2 weeks found safe

“Gossip Girl” alum Chanel Banks has been found safe two weeks after she went missing according to family.

Foul play is not suspected in the disappearance of the 36-year-old actress, sometimes credited as Chanel Farrell, and law enforcement sources tell TMZ she was found uninjured.

Banks’ cousin, Danielle-Tori Singh flew in from Toronto to search for Banks, who was reported missing Nov. 8. She’d last been heard from on Oct. 30.

“She doesn’t go more than 48 hours without speaking to me or her mom,” Singh told ABC7 Los Angeles’ Eyewitness News. She said she searched high and low for Banks along with the actress’ mom, Judy Singh.

The cousin told the outlet that Banks’ husband of one year had not been cooperating with the search and was “removing flyers off of posts and cars.”

Though authorities turned up Banks’ belongings and dog during welfare checks at the couple’s Playa Vista home, her whereabouts remained a mystery. In a GoFundMe — which raised nearly $4,000 of its $20,000 goal — Singh noted that Banks’ car was still at the home when the family searched. She also alleged that Banks’ husband had “a busted lip and marks and scratches on his neck and arms” on Nov. 10, but not two days prior.

It’s unclear where Banks was found or what prompted the prolonged silence.

She appeared as Sawyer Bennett in three 2009 episodes of “Gossip Girl,” and an episode each of “Twelve” and “Blue Bloods.”
