An investigation into intentional homicide was opened in Haute-Savoie, after the discovery, on Tuesday, November 12, of the bodies of three children in a chalet. Their mother, a 45-year-old teacher, fled.
In a chalet in Haute-Savoie where they grew up, three children aged 2, 11 and 13 were found dead on Tuesday November 12. Their bodies showed stab wounds. Their mother is actively sought in the surrounding forests. This triple infanticide occurred Tuesday in the hamlet of Taninges (Haute-Savoie).
The children's mother is a 45-year-old teacher. Depressed, she left a letter behind before disappearing. A large police force has been trying to find her since last night. The military questioned the suspect's relatives and neighbors until late Tuesday evening. Wednesday November 13, the mother has still not been found. An investigation into intentional homicide has been opened.
