Dr. Anahy D'Amico revealed in a video on social media a triple health problem that occurred in July. “I had thrombosis for two days. The vascular doctor who treated me said that I had a heart attack and a transient stroke.”
The 65-year-old psychologist highlighted the seriousness of the clinical condition. “I don't know how I didn't get something worse. I don’t know how I didn’t die,” he said. She still faces consequences. “Until now I'm a little forgotten, some words don't come. I never want to feel what I felt again.”
Famous for her participation in the extinct program 'Casos de Família', on SBT. Dr. Anahy believes that the situation would have been worse if she had not consulted a cardiologist two weeks earlier.
“I said I was taking medication for high blood pressure, I was hypertensive. When I told him what I was taking, he said 'it's very weak, this medicine must not be doing anything, let's change it'”, he recalls.
“If he hadn’t changed my blood pressure medication and given me cholesterol medication, I don’t know what could have happened.”
Currently, Dr. Anahy is undergoing a treatment called serotherapy, under the supervision of Dr. Thayla Amaral. It is an intravenous infusion of vitamins, minerals and amino acids.
The mental health specialist dedicates herself to a YouTube channel, 'Papo com Anahy D'Amico', with more than 2 million subscribers, and an Instagram profile, with 1.7 million followers.
