The cold drop that crossed France in the last few hours caused snowfall in the Alps, the Massif Central and the Pyrenees. Furthermore, temperatures dropped significantly yesterday afternoon, returning below seasonal norms.

A few frosts this morning
This morning, light frosts were observed in the plains, with temperatures reaching -1.4°C in Nantua in Ain, -1.2°C in Saint-Julien in Jura, -1°C in Saint-Rambert-en-Bugey also in Ain, – 0.8°C in Bretenoux in Lot and -0.2°C in Auberive in Haute-Marne.
The decline continues in the north this afternoon
The drop in temperatures will continue this afternoon in the north of France, while in the south, the maximum temperatures should regain a few degrees thanks to more generous sunshine. This improvement is due to the movement of the cold drop towards the south of the Iberian Peninsula.
Temperatures expected this afternoon are 6°C in Strasbourg and Nancy, 7°C in Dijon and Lyon, 8°C in Paris and Nantes, 9°C in Lille, 10°C in La Rochelle, 12°C in Brest, 14°C in Bordeaux and Toulouse, 16°C in Montpellier, 17 °C in Marseille and Bastia, 19°C in Nice and 20°C in Ajaccio.

No further rise in temperatures is expected tomorrow in the south of France, but values should still gain a few degrees in the north.
For tomorrow afternoon, the forecast temperatures are 7°C in Strasbourg and Nancy, 8°C in Poitiers, 9°C in Dijon and Auxerre, 10°C in Nantes and Rouen, 11°C in Paris and Rennes, 12°C in Toulouse, 13°C in Bordeaux, 14°C in Biarritz, 15°C C in Marseille, 16°C in Montpellier, 18°C in Perpignan and 19°C in Nice and Ajaccio.

Temperatures should remain roughly the same for Friday, with possibly some localized frosts.
More widespread frosts are expected for Saturday morning due to clear skies overnight.
