Tom Cruise is up to his old tricks in his eighth “Mission: Impossible” movie.

The teaser trailer for “Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning” was released Monday with a glimpse at what has been reported as Cruise’s final appearance as Ethan Hunt.

The 62-year-old Oscar nominee hangs off the side of a yellow airplane in one of his many unbelievable feats in the trailer.

He’s also shown shirtless in a hand-to-hand combat fight, running at full speed in a city and scuba diving underwater to explore a submarine.

The trailer also confirms the return of Angela Bassett as Erika Sloane. She originated the role in 2018’s “Mission: Impossible — Fallout.”

Cruise posted the trailer to his Instagram, writing, “Our lives are the sum of our choices.” He also shared the film’s official poster, with the caption, “Every choice has led to this.”

The eighth installment of the “Mission: Impossible” franchise comes out next year.

It is a follow-up to 2023’s “Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One,” which saw Ethan and his IMF team face off against a rogue AI called The Entity.

Joining Cruise and Bassett, 66, in the upcoming film includes Hayley Atwell as Grace, Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell, Simon Pegg as Benji Dunn, Vanessa Kirby as Alanna Mitsopolis, Esai Morales as Gabriel, Pom Klementieff as , and Henry Czerny as Eugene Kittridge.

New cast members include Hannah Waddingham, Nick Offerman, Katy O’Brian, Holt McCallany, and Tramell Tillman.

Christopher McQuarrie is back to direct his fourth film in the spy franchise.

“Mission: Impossible 8” was initially supposed to be called “Dead Reckoning Part Two.” The first “Dead Reckoning” underperformed at the box office, making $570 million on a $291 million budget after going up against the “Barbenheimer” phenomenon in July 2023.

The film was nominated for two Academy Awards.

The Post’s Johnny Oleksinski gave “Mission: Impossible 7” three and a half stars and called it “one of the best movies” of summer 2023.

Despite the rumors that the seventh and eighth “Mission: Impossible” movies are serving as a send-off to Cruise’s character, McQuarrie, 56, previously told the “Light the Fuse” podcast that fans can’t believe everything they hear.

“Let me tell you, I’ve been working with Tom Cruise for 15 years and I cannot tell you the number of times I’ve been standing next to the man, witnessed an event and then read about it in the trades the next day and none of what they describe is actually true,” the director said.

“Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning” arrives in theaters on May 23, 2025.
